History

The Integrated Mind Institute Pty Ltd ("IMI") was incorporated in June 2003 to further develop and commercialise the intellectual property and core technology originally developed by Medivision International Pty Ltd, an Australian medical research and development company. The IM Screen software was developed in response to the worldwide mental health crisis and the need for significantly improved approaches to diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients. IM Screen v1.0 was developed as a traditional software delivered tool that was ‘loaded up’ at a limited number of medical centres.

In 2005 IMI partnered with Platform Interactive Pty Ltd, an Internet software development company, to web-enable the Mind Screen. This allowed IMI to regularly and instantly add new functionality to the IM Screen for accredited practitioners.

In 2006 and the first half of 2007 the IM Screen v2.1 was updated with significant backend functionality added to the product. Also in 2007 IMI began planning its entry into New Zealand and the United States.

In August 2007, IMI changed its name to Global Mind Screen Group Pty Ltd to better reflect its global vision and at the same time the IM Screen was renamed the Mind Screen.

In September 2007 Mind Screen v2.2 Beta was launched with a new Care Planning functionality that enables the doctor to access Medicare rebates.

Global Mind Screen is currently working on version 3.0 of the Mind Screen which will further improve practitioner work flow by becoming partially integrated into patient management software solutions.
